Q: What is the cost structure?
A: The cost is 18%, 8% of which you are able to pass off to your attendees. This includes an on-site agent, event setup, branded swag kit, discounted TopGolf rates, venue booking, email/text templates, peer-to-peer capabilities, consignment item marketplace worth over 90M, Event.Gives full featured platform, social links for guests, and white glove service from start to finish.
Q: Are their age limits?
A: No. Golf.Gives is an all inclusive event software that is designed for attendees of all ages and demographics to participate.
Q: Do you have to be a good golfer to come play and/or collect pledges?
A: No, you do not have to be a good golfer to participate and/or raise money for the associated cause. We see our Golf.Gives attendees that are less experienced swing roughly 2,000-4,000 yards on average.
Q: How much of the event time is actual play time?
A: While you are able to adjust this to your liking, our Golf.Gives model is based off of a 3 hour event time with 2 hours of playtime included in the 3 hours.
Q: Can I do this event somewhere other than TopGolf? (Driving range, golf course, or other non-TopGolf-branded facility)
A: No. While you are able to host an Event.Gives event at any driving range or golf course, the Golf.Gives model is designed to utilize all of the TopGolf amenities while giving your attendees an unparalleled experience.
Q: Can I pay less and not have onsite support?
A: No. We included an on-site agent into our model for all Golf.Gives events in order to ensure your event is successful, allow for our event organizers to enjoy the event, and optimize available fundraising capabilities.
Q: What is the ticket cost for my attendees?
A: Dependent upon where you are hosting your event and your estimated headcount, we suggest that general admission with a 2 hour swing time for a single player be sold for $125. $100 of this $125 covers the included event amenities such as playtime, food, drink, and a lifetime player profile through TopGolf. That means the extra $25 per ticket goes directly to your event revenue.
Q: Can I pass on any of the fees to my attendees?
A: Yes. You can pass on up to 8% of the total fees (18%) to your attendees. Learn more here.
Q: Is there a limit on how many guests I can have?
A: Yes. As for the maximum, you are able to rent out the entire TopGolf facility, this just depends on the facility size/capacity.
In order to host a Golf.Gives event you will need to have at least 5 bays filled which translates to 30 people. This minimum protects you from paying extra fees, premiums, and unnecessary gratuity.
Q: What are my revenue sources for this event?
A:Your revenue sources for your Golf.Gives event come directly from Penny-Per-Yard pledges, ticket sales, sponsorship opportunities, live auction, silent auction, paddle raise, and raffle sales, if applicable.
Q: How do my attendees collect pledges?
A: Attendees are sent the link to their pledge page upon purchasing a ticket. From here, they will have the ability to copy their "pledge link" with the click of a button to share with friends and family. They can paste this link and share via social media, text message, email, or whatever channel they would prefer. Once friends and family receive the link, pledging to their campaign is just a quick click.
Q: What sponsorship opportunities are there at a Golf.Gives event?
A: Through our partnership with TopGolf we are able to offer digital signage within each bay screen to your sponsors. This allows your event sponsor logo's to rotate throughout the entirety of your event for your attendees to see during playtime.
Q: Do I get a designated support person before, during, and after my event?
A: Yes! Golf.Gives offers white glove service throughout the entirety of your event. Once you are assigned an agent, they will work with you leading up to your event to setup your event site, offer best practices, and answer any questions you may have. The same agent will be on-site the night of your event to manage check-in, train volunteers, enter donations/winning bids into the platform, and facilitate checkout.
Q: What kind of auction opportunities do I have?
A: While most events tend to have their own line up of various silent and live auction items, Event.Gives offers a marketplace with over $90M worth of consignment items.
