Two Types if Events Through Golf.Gives
We offer two types of event "styles" through Golf.Gives. Whether you are looking to replace a yearly gala or host a more family oriented event, Golf.Gives fits the mold. Both event styles are three hours long with two hours of playtime included within this three hour period. Type A- Gala Style
We normally suggest Type A events for organizations that are looking to host more of your typical "gala" style event. This model looks to incorporate a live auction, paddle raise, and usually involves an emcee or auctioneer to assist in this process!
The first two hours of this event would be playtime for your attendees. For this event, we suggest asking guests to arrive 15 minutes early to ensure check-in is completed prior to playtime beginning. After playtime, this model leaves the last hour for the live portion of your event. The live portion allows you to add in a paddle raise or live auction.
Type B- Family Style
The Type B event is geared towards families and younger constituents. This style of event allows for 30 minutes of buffer time in the beginning of the event as well as the end, with two hours of playtime in the middle. The 30 minutes of buffer time gives guests time to get checked in, mingle, and settle into their bays.
While the family style does not allot time for a live auction or paddle raise, we do suggest hosting a silent auction. Guests are able to interact with the silent auction in the week(s) leading up to the event as well as the night of. Looking for more ways to increase event revenue?
