Pledge Request Template Email

Once attendees purchase a ticket to a Golf.Gives event, they will receive an email with their next steps to acquiring pledges. Within this email, they will receive the pledge push email template shown below. However, feel free to use this as a resource and/or reminder when you email your Golf.Gives attendees. 

Subject: Can you donate a Penny Per Yard?

"Hi,

I am participating in a TopGolf tournament to help raise funds for [organization or cause] and I would love for you to be a part of this meaningful experience with me by donating a Penny Per Yard!

[Insert why this organization’s work is important to you]. By supporting me with your pledge of a penny per yard you will be contributing to this important cause.

While I know you have high expectations for my golfing abilities, I wanted to share the average yards reached at a TopGolf tournament so you know what a typical pledge might look like. On average, players hit 2,000 to 4,000 yards per tournament resulting in an average of pledge commitments from $20-$40. The maximum number of yards possible is 8,000 which translates to an $80 pledge.

I appreciate your time and consideration towards pledging to help support me for Special Olympics . Your generosity has the ability to make a tangible impact. Together we can make every swing count!
