*See the attached resource below to learn how Golf.Gives can elevate your fundraising*
Step One- Book A Call
While we normally don't believe in your stereotypical "sales call," we want to ensure we have all of the correct information prior to moving forward. Listed below are a few pieces of information that you will want to provide prior to this call in order for us to streamline the process!
1. City and state of your organization
2. Three optimal dates for your Golf.Gives event
3. Estimated headcount
4. Any other information you think would help us prepare for the meeting (i.e. auction plans, sponsor packages, and organization type)
Step Two- Confirm Date and Begin Setup
After we have collected all of the information above, we are able to begin setting up your event. In order to do so, you will be assigned a Golf.Gives customer success coach who will work with you through the completion of your event. Your assigned customer success coach will begin collecting necessary information in order to set up your event site.
Once your event site is complete, your assigned customer success agent will set up a call to walk you through the platform basics and confirm going live with the site. From here, your agent will send you a few templated emails that you are able to send to your guests in order to invite them to begin purchasing tickets to your event!
Step Three- Pledge Push
The only thing we ask of you throughout the entirety of this process is to take on the role of a Pledge Champion! Your role as a Pledge Champion is simple, yet an intricate part of the Golf.Gives process. The Pledge Champion's goal is to remind their constituents to secure as many pledges as possible prior to the event date. Your customer success coach will send you templated "ask" emails that not only provide the link to pledge but explain the pledge process. While you do not want to inundate your ticketed guests with pledge reminders, you will want to work with your assigned agent to schedule out at least 2-3 pledge reminders.
Step Four- Time to Swing
We designed this process so that you are able to take this time to enjoy your donor base and experience TopGolf without having to manage your event. Your customer success coach will also be your on-site agent, included in your event package. He or she will arrive an hour before your event to ensure that everything is prepared prior to your arrival. From here, your on-site agent will lead checkin, yard collection, data entry within the event site, auction management, checkout, and other event related updates you may need throughout the night.
Step Five- Post Event Debrief & Wrap Up
Following your Golf.Gives event, your assigned agent will look to schedule a call to go over your event revenue, the payout process, and receive any feedback from you and your team in order to improve the process!
