Time to learn about options and codes!
You've learned how to create a ticket, and now you're ready to start adding options, access codes, and promo codes.
When creating a ticket, you can add extra features to provide discounts, create hidden tickets, and/or collect additional information from your attendees.
Adding Access & Promo Codes
Access Code - Adding an access code to a specific ticket hides the ticket from the registration section of your landing site. In order for guests to access the ticket, they will need to enter this code into the "enter access code..." section above the available tickets. After doing so, the ticket with the associated access code will appear with the other available tickets.
Ticket Options
- Text Input: Use this fielf for your guests to write in their additional information
- Select Input: Use this field to have guests select an option from a preselected drop down menu
- Multiple Options: Use this field to allow guests to pick multiple options from a list
- Single Options: Use this field to allow guests to select a single option from a preset list
Ticket Option Up-Charge(s)
It is important to note that ticket option up-charges are only available for 'Select Input,' 'Multiple Options,' and 'Single Option.' That being said, ticket option up-charges are a great way to increase overall event revenue by adding up-charges such as t-shirt sales, meal options, and even chance-to-win ticket sales. You are able to make ticket options, and therefore, up-charges required. An example of when this may occur would be for a 5K run where attendees are required purchase a shirt and ticket in order to attend.
