The Payout Report shows a breakdown of all of the event's transactions. The dashboard at the top shows an overview of funds raised for both cash and credit, total processing fees, and any remaining balance.
Navigating To Your Payout Report
The balance in your event will change often; therefore, we recommend waiting until your event is closed and archived before viewing the final balance.
The Payout report page is a great place to submit refunds, as you can see all transactions in a single location.
*Please Note: If you'd prefer to look at in spreadsheet format, you can click the "CSV" or "EXCEL" buttons pictured below.
This report can be accessed through the "Event Actions" button in the upper right-hand of the manager portal. Click on "Event Actions," choose the "Reports" section which will open another dropdown list of reports, and choose "Payout Report."
Payout Report Dashboard
- The first number you will see is the "Paid Transactions" total, which is a cumulative number that includes both offline and credit card transactions.
- Below "Paid Transactions," you will see the total credit card transactions as well as your "Offline" transactions. Beneath each total, you will also find the refunded amount for both credit card and offline transactions. The offline transaction figures shown are for bookkeeping purposes only and do not reflect processed credit or debit card revenue.
- If you, as the organizer, choose to cover the credit card and/or platform fees, you will see both the total amount and the breakdown listed below. For this example, we designated those fees to our attendees, giving us a 100% free event through Event.Gives.
- This event has opted for a check payout. As funds are collected, they will appear here—above the "Payout Balance." Once you request a payout, we will reconcile your transactions and issue a check. This is why this event currently shows a remaining payout balance. Most events display "$0.00" above "Payout Balance," as Stripe automatically transfers the payout balance throughout the event. Connecting to Stripe to collect your event payout is free and easy to set up.
- Any transfers made to your Stripe account, if connected, will appear above "Transfers."
Requesting Payout
- Once you have navigated to your payout report, click the blue "Request Payout" button. The below pop-up will appear asking if you are sure you are ready to request payout. Click "I'm Ready" to continue.
- Next, you will be prompted to enter your password to continue. Once done, click "Submit" to request payout.
- A green success message will appear in the bottom right corner of your screen letting you know you have successfully requested your event payout.
