When you transact through an event, preset metadata is sent to stripe with the transaction data. As a Stripe user, you are able to pull a report that includes this meta-data. Each piece of data, having its own column in your Stripe report. This article, reviews how to add custom meta-data fields to ticket transactions, item transactions, and/or all event transactions.
Adding Ticket Metadata Field
1. First, create a ticket to which you'd like to add metadata fields. If you've already created a ticket, simply click into it to begin to add custom metadata fields.
2. Next, scroll to the "Stripe Metadata" field at the bottom of the ticket.
3. From here, add your custom "Title" and "Value." You are able to add up to 5 of these custom fields per ticket.

Adding Item Metadata Fields
1. First, create an item to which you'd like to add metadata fields. If you've already created an item, simply click into the item to add the metadata fields.
2. Next, scroll to the "Stripe Metadata" field at the bottom of the item.

Adding Metadata To All Event Transactions
*Please Note: Adding custom metadata fields through the 'Advanced' tab of the manager portal will append these data points to every transaction processed through your event site.
1. First, navigate to the 'Advanced' tab of the manager portal.
2. Next, locate the the "Stripe Meta-Data Fields" section, pictured below.
