Event Messaging Link Blasts: Key Tips and Techniques

Hey, Messaging Mogul! Heard of blast messaging?

Blast messaging is a great way to communicate with your supporters if you want to send a quick hello, inform your audience of a special auction item, or offer an easy way for your attendees to make a donation. 

In this lesson, you will learn how utilizing the "Link Blast" messages, you can easily send pre-populated messages to your attendees in order to provide them with the following information. 

Please note that the Ticket Link, Donation Link, Payment Link, and Card Collection Link include magic links that will automatically log the supporter into their account upon opening the link. 

Items Link:

You can view items in the The Fanatical Fundraiser event now at: [event link].

Ticket Link:

[Attendee Name], 

You're on the list! We are looking forward to seeing you at the [Event Title]!

View Tickets:

[ticket link]

Donation Link:

You can donate to the The Fanatical Fundraiser event now at: [event link].

Payment Link:

Thank you for supporting the [Event Title] event, to make a credit card payment please click:

[link to pay]

Card Collection Link:

"Thank you so much for supporting [Event Title]. Please add a credit card to your account by clicking here: [edit profile link]"

Paddle # and Table Assignment:

For the [event name], your paddle # is [paddle number] and your table assignment is [table assignment].

*If the attendee does not have a paddle number or table assignment, that portion of the message will be excluded.

To send any of these blast messages to your supporters, navigate to the 'Messaging' tab and click "Send Now" under the blast message you would like to send. 

You can also view the last time this blast message was sent by hovering over the "Send Now" button. 

Congratulations! You are now officially a Messaging Mogul!
