Turning On Donations for Your Event: Step-by-Step

Turning on the donation option for your event is as easy as one button. Set up to 6 giving levels with one custom giving level. In addition, set impact levels for each donation and curate your own donation description.

Turning on Donations & Setting Impact Levels

1. Navigate to the 'Donations' tab and then toggle the "Accept Donations" option on the right-hand side to "Yes," shown below:

2. Next, locate the "Giving Levels" on the lower right hand side of the 'Donations' tab. From here, you will enter the donation amounts you would like to be available for purchase on your event site under the "Amount" fields.

You must enter at least one donation amount in order for the ability to donate to be available on your event site. In addition to these amounts, donors have the ability to enter a custom donation amount as well. An example can be found below showing the "Amounts" field (left) and "Impact" fields (right) being completed. 

3. To save your newly added "Giving Levels," click the blue "Update Levels" button, pictured below. 

Setting A Donation Description

1. Next, begin curating your donation description. This will show on the left hand side of the donation modal that you attendees will see when donating. This is a great place to enter your mission or more information on how donations will impact your cause.

2. To curate your donation description, locate the "Donation Description" directly below the "Accept Donations" modal.

3. Either begin typing your donation description or utilize our AI DISCriptions generator to draft a customized donation description for your event. To utilize our AI DISCriptions, simply click "Write DISCription."

4. To save, click the blue save button at the bottom of the description field, shown below. 

Viewing The Donation Modal 

1. Navigate to the "View Event Site" button, pictured below, in order to see how the donation option appears from the attendee side. 

2. After doing so, click the blue "Donate Now" button, shown below: 

3. After clicking "Donate Now," you will see a similar screen to the one below. On the left hand side, you will see the newly created donation description. After selecting a giving level of $100 on the right hand side, you will see the impact of "One Toy For Every Shelter Animal" appear, pictured below.  

*Please Note: If you have not entered impacts for your giving level, these will not appear.
