Where do I connect my Event.Gives event to my Double the Donation account?

You can connect enter your Double The Donation API key at the bottom of the 'Settings' tab of your manager portal.

After connecting my account, should I complete a test transaction?

Yes. After connecting your Double The Donation account we suggest doing a test transaction to ensure the key you entered is correct and the donations made through Event.Gives, are showing in your Double The Donation account.

A donor completed the company search prior to making a donation, however, they exited out of the success screen that contained their next steps to complete the corporate match form, etc... Where can I find that information?

Double The Donation offers an email functionality that will re-send this information to the donor so they can complete the final steps to qualify for corporate matching. Please contact your Double The Donation representative or submit a ticket with their team here.

What transactions qualify for Double The Donation's corporate matching programs?

General donations, peer pledges (donations), and vote-to-donate items qualify for the corporate matching through this integration.

Is there a minimum or maximum donation amount in order to qualify for a corporate match?

Each program is varies for minimum and maximum donation amounts. However, if a donor has not met the minimum amount for their corporate match, then after selecting a company, the system will ask the donor if they would like to raise their donation amount in order to meet the minimum qualifying donation amount.

Can I use the Double The Donation integration on a peer-to-peer event?

Yes! The Double The Donation integration through Event.Gives applies to peer page pledges as well. The process for pledging to a peer page will be similar to making a general donation or purchasing a vote-to-donate item. Click here for more information on what this will look like for your attendees!
