If you have a peer-to-peer event, you may be asked to add a pledge to a peer's page on behalf of a donor. For example, someone would like to donate to a peer page but either needs assistance doing so or gave you a check or cash. This article will review the steps for adding a pledge to a peer's page on an un-fixed event as well as adding a donation to a peer's page on a fixed event.

Adding a Donation to a Peer's Page on a Fixed Peer-to-Peer Event
*Please note: After adding this pledge to a peer's cart, you will need to navigate to the 'Donations' tab and complete the transaction in order for it to show on the peer's page.
1. First, navigate to the 'Supporters' tab.
2. Locate the owner of the peer page where you'd like to place a donation. If needed, utilize the search bar to locate the peer page owner. Next, locate the "Peer Name" column.
3. Click into their Peer Name. For this example, we are clicking "SilverBeaver74." This will open their peer page settings. From here, click "Pledge to...."
4. Next, enter the phone number of the donor that you are placing a pledge on behalf of. If you do not have their phone number, you can click "Find by Email."
5. Next, choose the "Name Display." This is how the donor's name will be shown the peer page.
6. Next, if the donor has requested to leave a comment, you can enter this into the field provided.
7. Enter the donor's pledge amount in the green "Amount" field.
8. Once you have confirmed the information entered in the fields provided, click "Pledge." Clicking "Pledge" will search for users based on the phone number or email address provided. Once the user is found and you have confirmed it is the correct donor, click "Yes."
9. This pledge has now been added to the donor's cart. In order to complete this donation, navigate to the 'Donations' tab.
10. After navigating to the 'Donations' tab, you will see the pledge you made, pictured below. This pledge is unpaid, and therefore, will not show on the peer's page. In order to have this pledge appear on the peer's page, you will need to complete this transaction.

Adding a Pledge to a Peer's Page on an Un-fixed Peer-to-Peer Event
*Please note: After adding a pledge to a peer's page it will not appear in the 'Donations' tab. Once the peer's units have been updated, the platform will calculate the final pledge amount and place this amount in the donor's cart. These pledges will not show in the 'Donations' tab until the units have been added, payment links have been sent, and the users open their carts to complete their donations.
1. Navigate to the 'Supporters' tab.
2. Locate the owner of the peer page where you'd like to place a donation. If needed, utilize the search bar to locate the peer page owner. Next, locate the "Peer Name" column. Click into the Peer Name.
3. Click "Pledge to..."
4. Next, enter the phone number of the donor that you are placing a pledge on behalf of. If you do not have their phone number, you can click "Find by Email."
5. Next, choose the "Name Display." This is how the donor's name will be shown the peer page.
6. If the donor has requested to leave a comment, you can paste this in the field provided.
7. Next, enter the donor's pledge amount in the green "Amount" field, shown below.
8. Once you have confirmed the information entered in the fields provided, click "Pledge." Clicking "Pledge" will search for users based on the phone number or email address provided. Once the user is found and you have confirmed it is the correct donor, click "Yes."
This pledge has been successfully added to the peer's page. When the fundraiser is complete and the peer page owner's units have been calculated, the donor will receive an email with their final calculated donation.
