• Find a quiet location
• Record on a separate computer from the one you are viewing the live stream on
• Ensure you have stable wifi
• Ensure your laptop is charged 
• Do a practice recording prior to the live stream
• Ensure your "sleep mode" or "battery saving" mode is set to off
• Silence your notifications or any pop-up windows that may interrupt your recording
