The chat feature is designed as a space where your guests can interact with each other during live events. You can also engage your guests in the chat with fun questions like "Where is everyone joining us from tonight?" or "What is your why for supporting our cause?" to get the chat moving.
Chat can be toggled on and off throughout your event so users have the opportunity to engage when you want. Within the Event.Gives Live section within the Items tab, you will see the option With Chat with a check box to the left of it as shown below. When checked, the chat will show on your event and when unchecked, the chat will be disabled.
If a chat comes in that you would like to remove, any manager can click the trash can next to a chat to delete it from the chat box. Please see below for what that will look like. Please note that only managers will see the trash can icon and this will not be visible to any other attendees.
