Once you purchase* the Digital Event Experience feature (*$500) for your event, you will have access to all Digital Event features within the Items tab in your manager portal. All live and video features will be available on the right side of the screen under the Items tab under the Event.Gives Live dashboard.
There are two sections that you will use to control the video streaming features. The first section is titled Event.Gives Live where you can control when the event is live, what you are asking from your virtual attendees (ie: bids or donations), as well as the interaction of your attendees that are shown on your event site.
Rehearsal Mode- When you turn on Rehearsal Mode, a hidden site will be created only for your internal team to view and allows you to test out any videos you have uploaded or rehearse with any streams/ webcams. If an attendee visits your event site while you are in rehearsal mode, they will not see any live features active. Once you turn on Rehearsal Mode, you will see a Go To Rehearsal Mode hyperlink that you will use to view the live hidden event site.
Live Now- When the toggle is turned to Live Now, your event will be live for you to stream pre-recorded content, live webcams, and anything your team is wanting to include in your virtual live event.
Viewer Count/ Show Room Count- The viewer count will show you the number of unique users logged in and watching your event. You can check the box located next to Show Room Count if you would to display the number of viewers to your audience on your event site. This number will show in the top left corner of your video on the event site and will fluctuate as the number of viewers changes.
Go to Live Event- This is a link to your event site. Please note; this will populate in a new tab. For any auctioneers, EMCEE's or anyone you would like to have a live stream via Connect Webcam they would need to right-click this link to bring this link in a new tab and not remove their stream.
Go to Teleprompter- Your speaker or auctioneer will want to right-click this link and have the Teleprompter/ Confidence Monitor screen up during the event. The screen will display the donation levels on-screen in Donate mode and will show the item and minimum bid amount in Bidding mode. They will be able to see all donations and bids come through to give real-time recognition to your virtual audience.
Donate Mode
When you are toggled in Donate Mode, you will be able to display up to three Giving Levels on screen at once in addition to a Custom Giving Level. You can choose when to show each level on-screen by checking or unchecking the box next to Display.
Bidding Mode
When you are toggled in Bidding Mode, you will be able to choose which Live Auction item to push live onscreen for bids. Each Live Auction item will have a blue Make Live Button Once the item is pushed live, the button will change to Close Item for you to select after the bidding has reached its maximum bid.
Your attendees will be able to see the bid amounts or donation amounts as they come through if you choose to Show Engagements during your event. The engagements will be displayed on the right side of the video or stream that is playing. Turning on the Chat feature means that the engagements will display as well as allow managers/ users to engage with each other.
The Name Style will determine how the bidder's information is shown on screen. Each donor will have the option to donate and bid anonymously if they choose to do so.
Video Stream Actions
