What Is a Magic Link?

Magic links are a type of passwordless login that allow users to log into an account by clicking a link that’s emailed or texted to them, rather than typing in their username and password.

How does Event.Gives use Magic Links?

Sometimes half the battle is getting your supporters logged in. And they must be logged in before they can do what they want: bid, buy, and donate.

With an Event.Gives magic link, sent through a blast message, donors are able to skip the frustrating process of remembering login credentials like phone numbers and passwords.

Donors can quickly pull up their ticket QR code, finish their check-out process, or donate more money using their card on file.
