This article will review the steps to manually inputting your completed units. This process is only required for events that are asking participants to complete units. The type of unit is decided by the event organizer. Examples of common types of units are listed below:
- Books- Books Read
- Miles- Miles Walked/Ran/Biked/Etc...
- Laps- Laps Swam/Walked/Ran/Biked/Etc...
- Meter- Meters Swam/Walked/Ran/Biked/Etc...
- Kilometer- Kilometers Walked/Ran/Biked/Etc...
- Yards- Yards Shot/Ran/Biked/Etc...
For example, if your event organizer has chosen "Books" as your unit, then you will have an area on your peer page to enter in the number of books you have read. When a supporter donates to your page, they will be donating per every book you read. When the event has ended, the supporter's final donation amount will be the amount of books you read multiplied by their donation amount. Therefore, if you read 3 books and the supporter donated $5 per book, their total donation amount would be $15.
How to Update Your Completed Units
1. Log into the event you are participating in. Navigate to your peer page. If you do not have a peer page, you can click "Register as Peer" to create a peer page. Click here for more information on setting up your peer page.
For this example, we are participating in a walk-a-thon. Therefore, the event organizer has chosen miles as the "unit."
2. After navigating to your peer page, click the trophy icon reading "0 miles," pictured below.
3. Next, the amount in the field provided.
*Please note: You can update this field as many times as needed until the event has ended.
4. Click "OK."
You will see your newly added units on your peer page.
