How to Join, Create, or Delete a Team

In order to create or join a team, you will first need to create a peer page. Click here to learn more about setting up your peer page. After doing so, you can join an existing team or create your own team by following the prompts below. 

*Please Note: Team goals are not editable. Instead, team goals are a culmination of the goals set by the peers within the team.

How to Join an Existing Team 

1. After creating your peer page, you will see the below prompt to either create a team or join a team. For this example, we will join an existing team by clicking the "Join Team" button. 

2. After clicking "Join Team," you will be directed to the page containing current teams. From there, choose the team you would like to join by clicking it.

3. Now that you are on the team's page, you will click the "Join Team" button. 

4. You have now successfully joined your new team! Now that you have a team, you can invite friends and family to join your team or make a pledge. You can invite them to this page either by phone or by email, shown below. 

How to Create a Team 

1. After creating your peer page, you will see the below prompt to either create a team or join a team. For this example, we will be creating a team by clicking the "Create Team" button. 

2. Now that you have created a team, you have the option to edit your team page now or later. If you choose to edit your team later, you can do so by clicking the settings icon in the lower left hand corner of your background image.

3. Editing your team page follows the same process as editing your peer page. You are able to edit your team's: 

• Name
• Avatar Photo
• Cover Photo 
• Description

4. You have now successfully created a new team! Now that you have a team, you can invite friends and family to join your team or pledge. You can invite them to this page either by phone or by email, shown below. 

Delete an Existing Team

1. After logging in and navigating to your team page, click the gear icon, shown below. Please note that you can only delete a team page if you are the owner of the team.

2. Once you select the gear icon, the team settings page will open. On this page, click the red "Delete Team" button.

3. Next, it will ask you to confirm that you'd like to delete your team and remove all team members. Click "Delete."
