This article will explain the process of donating through your organization's website. Using Event.Gives' donation form is simple, whether you are a current Event.Gives user or new to the platform!
Choosing Your Donation Level & Type
Once you have located and clicked the "Donate" button on your organization's website, you will see a donation form, similar to the image below:
If you are making a one-time donation you can move to the next section. If you are choosing to "Give Monthly" please click here.
One-Time Donation
In order to make a one-time donation, you will select one of the given levels or enter a custom donation amount in the "Donation Amount" field. In addition, you have the option to dedicate this donation to a loved one, previous pet, etc. Once complete, click the blue "Donate" button.
After clicking "Donate," you will be asked whether you would like to change your donation to an annual donation or keep your donation as a "One-Time Gift," pictured below:
*Please note: Whether you choose to donate annually or keep this donation as a one-time donation, the remaining steps to checkout and complete your donation are the same.

Monthly Donation
Making a monthly donation is a great way to support your organization's initiatives without breaking the bank. In order to begin, you will click the 'Give Monthly' tab in the upper right-hand corner of the donation form, shown below:
*Please note: When choosing to give monthly, your card will be charged on the 15th of every month. You have the ability to cancel anytime by accessing 'My Account.'

Completing Checkout
After choosing your donation level and proceeding, you will be prompted to create an account by filling in the fields provided or logging into your account by clicking the blue "I Already Have An Account" text. Regardless of whether you create an account or already have an account, you will be sent a 4-digit PIN to your mobile device that you will need to enter in order to proceed, shown below:
After clicking "Confirm" and proceeding, you will be prompted to 'add new card' if you do not have a card on file or if you recently created a new account. To add a new card, fill in the fields shown below and click "Add Card." If you already have a card on file, you can skip this step.
Next, you will want to click the drop-down arrow to select your preferred card or click the blue 'Charge Card' button to complete your donation.
Congratulations! You have completed your donation and made a lasting impact toward your organization's mission. To cancel a recurring donation, renew a previous recurring donation subscription, or to manage your account and transactions, click the black 'My Account' button, shown below:
