Q: How do winning bidders book their trips and experiences?
A: The nonprofit client will send the winning bidder’s full name, email, and phone number to Event.Gives (either direct email to your Event.Gives expert or to support@event.gives), who will forward the information to Go Charity. A Go Charity hospitality staff member will reach out to that winning bidder within three (3) business days to start the booking process. Then it will be one on one concierge style customer support every step of the way.
Q: Can trips and experiences be offered in a live auction?
A: Yes, you can offer all of our trips and unique experiences in a live auction. For better results, we highly recommend the trips and experiences go into your live auction.
Q: Can I sell a physical item multiple times?
A: Yes, you can sell the same item multiple times to increase proceeds raised. It is advised to do so within 24 hours of the auction closing, so there is still a strong interest.
Q. Can I sell a trip or experience multiple times?
A. Yes! If you are putting it into your live auction, it is advised to update the auctioneer of the consignment price and the ability to sell it more than once if there is a good bidding war to increase proceeds. If the trip or experience is part of your silent auction, it is advised to do so within 24 hours of the auction closing, so there is still a strong interest.
Q. How long are trips and experiences valid for?
A. Most of our trips must be booked within 18 months and traveled within 24 months, unless otherwise stated.
Q: If a physical Item is won, when can I expect it to ship to the winning bidder?
A: Upon receiving shipping information, Go Charity will ship within 1-2 business days.
Q. Do autographed items come with a certificate of authentication?
A. Yes, all hand signed items come with a certificate of authenticity.
Q: What happens if my item arrives damaged?
A: No worries! Go Charity will replace the item and provide a return UPS label to have the damaged item returned to us.
Q. What carrier do you ship items with?
A. All items are shipped via an insured UPS package with a signature required by the receiver.
Q. Can a winning bidder receive UPS tracking on their winning items?
A. Yes. Simply provide the winning bidder's name and email and we will provide tracking updates to the winner via email.
