Why Flexible Fees?
We listened to your feedback! Flexible Fees pricing means that you get to decide who pays the fees. Most event organizers choose to pass on this fee to their attendees, resulting in a FREE event for your organization!
How do I change my Payment Settings?
You can edit your Payment Settings in the 'Advanced' tab of your manager portal.
Can I change my settings once my event has started?
Yes! You can change your Payment Settings at any time under the 'Advanced' settings tab, which will change how fees are allocated from that point forward.
Have credit card fees changed?
No. You do, however, now have the choice to allocate these fees. To edit your Payment Settings, open your 'Advanced' tab in the manager portal.
Can I pay a flat fee to have these fees removed?
No. Click here to read about your options.
Can I require my attendees to cover the platform fees?
Yes. Your Payment Settings will automatically be set to "Attendees pay fees." To confirm your settings, check your Payment Settings in the 'Advanced' tab of your manager portal.
Can I require my attendees to cover the credit card fees?
Yes. Your Payment Settings will automatically be set to "Attendees pay fees." To confirm your settings, check your Payment Settings in the 'Advanced' tab of your manager portal.
If my Payment Settings allow my attendees to choose whether they cover fees or not, and they choose not to, will my organization be responsible for covering the fees?
Yes. If your attendee does not cover the optional fee, your organization will be responsible for covering it. To require your attendees to cover the fees, select "Attendees pay fees" in your Payment Settings.
What are the default Payment Settings?
When you create your event, the default Payment Settings will be that "Attendees pay fees" on both credit card fees and platform fees. To change these settings, see Payment Settings on the 'Advanced' tab.
