What does "Linked Attendees" mean?

This article is for table/group hosts or table/group purchasers. If you are a guest and looking to link or unlink yourself, please reach out to your table host or event organizer. 

Have you ever been to an event with a guest and wanted to receive the same messaging or share a cart at the end of the night? You are now able to do so using our new 'Linked Attendees' feature! Before linking your account to another guest's, it is important to understand what this means for you and your guest. 

What does this feature mean for me and my guest? 

-Different paddle numbers: You and your guest will both have your own paddle number. This enhances the event experience as you can both bid on separate items, participate in the paddle raise, etc...

-Same SMS messaging: Both you and your guest will receive outbid and winning notifications for auction items via SMS messages. This is helpful as you will have a better idea of what you and your guest have been outbid on or won. 

-Shared cart for checkout: You and your guest will share the same cart throughout the duration of the event. Therefore, as you add raffle tickets or win auction items you will both see these items appear within your cart. This means if your guest were to win an item, this item will show up in your cart as well. If you or your guest decides to check out, both of your carts will read as paid!
