We know it's important for each attendee to have their own individual account where they can participate in an event on any device as long as they're logged in. We also understand the need for linking accounts together where one is considered the primary account. When accounts are linked, any bids or donations made in either account will be added to the primary user's cart.
**Please note that accounts are only linked per event. If you host multiple events, the users will need to be linked within each individual event.**
To link attendees within the manager portal, navigate to the Event Check-In tab and type and enter one of the attendees names in the search bar. Once you are viewing one of the attendee's tickets, click on the blue Select button underneath the Attending With header.
You will see the following pop-up window appear and can click Search/Create to find the attendee you would like to link.
Type in the phone number or email associated with the user you want to link with this attendee. If the system recognizes their account, their name will appear and you can click the Submit button to confirm linking.
You will now see the attendee you chose to link listed under the Attending With column.
Attendees can link themselves with another attendee within the RSVP links for Sponsor tables. Please see below for that process.
To link an attendee with the current ticket holder, click the Attending With button.
The pop up below will appear and you will want to click on Search Email/ Phone in order to find the attendee to link with. You will then be prompted to enter either a mobile number or email to find the attendee's account.
Once the attendee is recognized by the system, their name will appear. To confirm the linking of these attendees, simply click Submit.
**Please note, the original ticket holder will be considered the Primary Guest, meaning any winning bids or donations placed under either account will be placed in the Primary Guest's shopping cart to pay.
Now that the attendees are linked, you will see that reflected on the ticket, as shown below. If you would like to unlink the attendees, you can easily do that by clicking on the Unlink button.
