Overview
- Announcement
Send a message blast to all event attendees 30 minutes before the items are closed. This last call on items will generate a final push of activity before the end of your event. This is also a great way to say thank you to all of your guests.
- Close Items
Closing items can be handled in more than one way. The first and recommended way would be to click the red "Close Event" button detailed below. This closes all items, stops all new purchases, notifies all winners, and sends payment links to those who haven't checked out yet. This is the cleanest way to end an event. The alternative would be to close each item individually in case you need to stagger the event's items (reference screenshot on "Item Pickup" section below). You will need to manually click the "send payment link" button from the event messaging tab when closing individually (reference "Payment Reminder" sections below).
EXPERT TIP
"Connect any USB card reader to your devices to help guests add cards on file during check out."

- Item Pickup
Item pickup should be easy for both attendees and event organizers. Winners were already sent the item pickup message specified during the setup phase, with these instructions most guests should be self-directed. The organizer will then verify the guest paid and is, in fact, the winner. Once the item handoff occurs, managers can easily mark the item as "picked up" to avoid confusion.
- Payment Reminder
Navigate back to the event messaging tab to send the payment link reminder. This is a gentle way to remind your guests to check out if they have an unpaid cart balance. It only sends to those unpaid. If you have a card on file, you can also force the charge from the attendee's cart.
- Refunds
Performing ticket refunds is simple. Search the attendee and select the cart icon to view all of their paid/unpaid items. Simply select the refund button next to the transaction in focus to reverse the charge.
**Please note that our credit card processor does not refund credit card fees for any transaction**
