Step 3: Items
Previous - Step 2: Ticketing
Next - Step 4: Donations
Overview
-
Create & Manage
Add and manage event items within your dashboard from the items tab. You can create, edit, delete and interact with your event items here. Create raffle, fixed price, vote-to-donate, and auction (silent & live) items for your guest to purchase. Items must be both published and open to begin accepting bids/transactions.
-
Place Bids
Most guests will place bids on their own from their mobile device. In case a manager/staff needs to place a bid on someone's behalf, you can do so from the item's actions menu. Select "Place Bid" and complete the form to place the bid. The bidder will receive a text notification once the bid is placed.
EXPERT TIP
"A device charging station and a bidding assistant with a tablet/laptop will deliver great value to your guest in case they need help."

-
Remove Bids
Event managers can remove bids on anyone's behalf. First, search the item. Next, click on the number of bids within each auction item card. This will bring up a pop-up window with the entire bid activity for this item. Locate the attendee and click the trash can icon to remove the bid.
-
Winners
Winners can be notified via text/SMS with a congratulations message. The organizer can also view the winner's name on each item card from within the items page to confirm the winner.
-
Refunds
Performing refunds varies with each item. Refunding an auction item requires you to navigate to the attendee's cart by clicking the cart icon beneath the winner's name (reference screenshot below). Refunding a fixed price item can also be refunded from the attendee's cart or also by clicking on the amount sold within the item card, locate the attendee, and click refund next to their name. Keep in mind, all refunds can also be performed from the payout report page as well.
**If a ticket or item was paid with a credit card, credit card fees will not be refunded**
