Using Event Site Tabs

Event Site Tabs:

We've added customizable Event Tabs to your event site. Now that you have activated our new event site- you will have access to these tabs! Your tabs might highlight sponsors or provide information on attire and parking. Event Tabs are totally customizable, so it's up to you. Here is how to add new tabs to your site: 

1. Settings Tab: 
   • Navigate to the ‘Settings’ tab on your manager portal. Here you can add your event description. This will always be your first tab. This tab's name, by default is "Event Details."
   • To rename your "Event Details" tab, navigate to the 'Add Tabs' tab. Click the arrow facing to the right, pictured below.
   • Next, use the field provided to rename your "Event Details" tab.
   • Once you have renamed your "Event Details" tab, click the blue "Save" button.  
     • If you would like to provide additional event details for your attendees by utilizing tabs, follow the next steps. 

2. Add Tabs: 
   • Once you have activated the new event site, navigate to the ‘Add Tabs’ tab on your dashboard. 

• If you haven’t added any tabs yet, use the purple ‘Add Event Tab’ button.

• If you have added tabs and want to add an additional tab, use the blue ‘Add Tab’ button on the top left hand side. 

3. Name and choose your tab type:

• Choose a name for this tab, this will show on the event site once saved. Next, choose between entering your own content or uploading  a PDF that supporters are able to view, download, and/or print. 

3. Customize your tab: 
   • If you chose content, it will appear similar to the image below. 

• Add any information your attendees will need to the description box. To ensure the tab shows on your event site, check the "Visible" box and click "Save" prior to navigating away from this tab. 
  • Please note, if you do not have content in the tab checked visible, the tab will not show on your event site
• Make sure you save your information before leaving this page!
• If you choose PDF's, it will appear similar to the image below:
