Using the blast messaging feature is a great way to reach all your attendees at once! Many event organizers use this to send reminders about their event or give updates throughout the event!
We advise sending out short messages to ensure that they are sent in one message and not broken up into more than one message. We also encourage including only one piece of punctuation at a time (! not !!) as any more than one in a row will alert the carrier not to deliver the message. Please note, blast messaging only supports event.gives links and will not support messages that contain third-party links.
Additionally, we advise including the name of your event within the message and clicking send. We then advise using the send items link as this will send out the link in a separate message.
You can take a look at the SMS log of any attendee to confirm how the message left the platform. If a message is received differently than what you see here, it is due to the mobile carrier.
